Taylor Drawing From Fletch

On Tuesday evening, Lyle Taylor had to be patient to eventually bag a brace against Dagenham & Redbridge, but has since admitted that he is gaining much from the vastly experienced Steve Fletcher.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Taylor is quoted as saying: "Everything Fletch can tell you is priceless. For the time he was on the pitch, he talked to me constantly. It was brilliant. As a young centre forward, positioning is possibly not the strongest part of my game. Having someone talking to me day in, day out in training, games and even when we are not in, does my game no end of good. I can only thank Fletch for that. He is a massive leader. We have been told that you can talk your way through a game and Fletch helps everyone massively by talking to them. We know what Fletch is about – he is strong and holds up the ball – but his experience is invaluable. You can’t buy that, it is brilliant".
