Mavin Bartley has committed himself to a new 2 and a half year deal to keep him at Dean Court until Summer 2012. On signing, manager Eddie Howe is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "We’re delighted he wants to stay and I see him as an important part of the future at this club. I think he’s improved a lot in the past couple of months. We want to continue to work with him and to continue the improvements with his game because we really believe in him. He has had to be patient because there is real competition in the centre of the park and we’ve got some really good central midfielders".

Following in Bartley's footsteps is Liam Feeney, who also committed himself to the Cherries until Summer 2012. Feeney is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I’m very happy to commit to the club. I’m delighted with the way things have gone and we are aiming for promotion this season. I was glad to be a part of what we achieved last season. I’ve only really known good times since I’ve been here. Although we were in a relegation dogfight last season, it was a success story because of the way it ended. We’ve kept up the momentum this season. Everything has gone really well and, hopefully, we can go on to achieve our ultimate aim".

Completing the trio of signatures is Ryan Garry who also committed himself to Dean Court until Summer 2012. On signing, Garry was quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "I think we’ve got a good chance of achieving something this year and hopefully that comes good at the end of the season. I feel under Eddie we’ve done really well from the start of 2009. I think we’ve done well this season to this point and I think we all believe we can do better. If you ask any player, they would say they want to be at a club where you can achieve something".
