In a Bournemouth Evening Echo article, Gerlad Krasner is quoted as saying: "Mr Mostyn stepped forward to pay the wages together with a number of other bills. He is now the preferred bidder with exclusivity and I will have no further dealings with any other third party. It's obvious to me that when push comes to shove, he's been the only guy who has written a cheque to keep this football club alive", this after the two other consortia failed to pay £100,000, even with an extended deadline of Monday at 12-midday.

Krasner went on to say: "People make promises they don't keep and you get very jaundiced and cynical about it. Some of the promises that were made in the past week that haven't been kept has pushed that to new heights. Certain people in the football-dealing world, as opposed to playing, have lost a lot of credibility with me over it".
