Tranmere Reaction

Manager Sean O'Driscoll was pleased with the overall performance against Tranmere, being quoted after the match as saying: "They are an experienced side who will be there or there abouts come the end of the season. I'm pleased with the performance, our keeper only had one save to make all game while their keeper was busier. We opened them up several times. We have to take positives out of the game, we worked hard and played some good football".

Tranmere Rovers' boss, Brian Little was delighted with the point, being quoted afterwards as saying: "It's a difficult place to come. We came here last season and I felt that they were happy with the point and yet this season, perhaps we're a little happier. They are a good, young footballing side who play really attractive football. At home, they are a handful and you have to respect them for that. To come here and have a go at them is a gamble and every now and again, somebody's gamble will pay off and Bournemouth will occasionally lose a game at home. But more often than not, teams that come here and gamble will lose".
