The two leaving the Club in the January clear-out are Miles Addison and Matt Tubbs.

Addison has left, on loan for the remainder of the season, having joined Rotherham United. On his switch, manager Eddie Howe was quoted as saying in the Bournemouth Evening Echo: "Miles expressed a wish to play this season. At this stage of his career, and with the injuries he had prior to coming here and while he has been here, he didn’t want to spend any more time on the fringes of the squad. When someone makes that request to you, it is only right that you listen. You do what is best for the club but you also have to think of the player and his future. He made the decision that when the window had reopened, we would look at his situation. He wants to play and has gone to a good club who are doing well. It is an opportunity for him to get regular football which I think is what he needs".

He might have only just returned, but Matt Tubbs is off again. This time he's gone on loan to his former Club, Crawley Town. His loan is only initially for a month, but there's an option to extend that until the end of the season.

On Tubb's departure, Howe is also quoted as saying: "Matt had a frustrating spell at Rotherham where he didn’t get the football he had wanted. He wasn’t a regular starter for us last season and had hoped to get regular football. Hopefully, he will get that during his time with Crawley, get back to scoring goals and get that buzz of scoring because he has scored wherever he has been in his career".
