AFC Bournemouth have signed highly rated teenager Josh O'Hanlon from irish side Longford Town, having recently impressed in a trial match. A fee has been agreed, with the teenager due in Bournemouth ahead of the Championship match against Huddersfield Town on Tuesday.
A statement on the Longford Town web site reads: "Longford Town FC wish to announce that they have concluded an agreement with AFC Bournemouth to transfer Josh O’Hanlon for an undisclosed fee. All at Longford Town FC would like to thank Josh for his time at the club and the wonderful goals he scored. We also take this opportunity to wish Josh the best of luck with his future career".
