Speaking to the Bournemouth Evening Echo, manager Jimmy Quinn is quoted as saying: "I don't know an awful lot about him. We heard he was unattached and Jason Tindall knew someone who knew him so we invited him in. I don't know how fit he is but I'll be able to tell as soon as I see him whether he's what we're looking for. I'll be straight up with him. If I think he can do a job then maybe we'll do something but if he can't then we won't".
