Twenty Goals For Wes?

With Wes Thomas on the 10-goal mark already, the 24-year-old striker is looking to double his tally for the season with another 10-goals as the season builds to a climax.

Thomas is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying on his goal scoring exploits: "I would have been disappointed if I hadn’t scored 10 by now. I think I can get another 10 and that is what I am looking to do. I scored 10 in my first 19 games and am confident I can get another 10 in the next 18. I feel I have done fairly well since I came here and have just got to keep it going. I certainly won’t be resting on my laurels. You can only do as well as you can and I feel I am giving 100 per cent all the time. Reaching the play-offs is still the aim and I don’t see why we can’t do it. We dropped points against Chesterfield but I am sure Stevenage, Carlisle and MK Dons won’t go unbeaten between now and the end of the season. We have got to make sure we drop fewer points than our rivals and see where it takes us".
