Brentford will have to wait for a few more days to confirm their promotion to League One. They failed to overcome Dagenham & Redbridge at Victoria Road, going down 3-1. Saunders (20th min) and Taiwo (34th min) gave the Daggers a 2-0 half time lead. Arber extended the lead in the 55th minute before Spencer pulled a goal back in the 85th minute. The result lifts the Daggers in to the play-off zone. Dagenham & Redbridge 7th, Brentford 1st.

Wycombe Wanderers look set to follow Brentford to the higher level following a 1-0 win over Luton Town at Kenilworth Road. Akinde scored the only goal of the goal in the 56th minute. Luton Town 24th, Wycombe Wanderers 2nd.

Rotherham United are going to miss out on the play-offs, but their automatic promotion form has left Morecambe licking their wounds and another (likely) season in League Two, following a 3-2 win at The Don Valley Stadium. Taylor gave the Millers a 45th minute lead, with O'Carroll levelling in the 52nd minute. Taylor then scored again with 10 minutes to go, with Burchill scoring from the penalty spot in the final minute. A nervous last few seconds were set up when Bentley pulled one back for the Cumbrians in the 92nd minute. Rotherham United 13th, Morecambe 10th.
