Congratulations to Brentford as they clinched the League Two title on the road at Darlington in a 3-1 win, their 10th on the road this season. Bennett and Clarke gave the Bees a half time lead with goals in the 35th and 43rd minutes. Clarke netted again in the 54th minute, with Abbott scoring a consolation in the 59th minute. Darlington 12th, Brentford 1st.

Congratulations to AFC Bournemouth who secured their League status for another season following a 2-1 win over relegation rivals Grimsby Town at Dean Court. Jarman gave the Mariners a half time lead in the 41st minute. The Cherries hit back with goals from Feeney in the 47th minute and Fletcher in the 80th minute. Grimsby are vitually safe, barring a bizarre set of results next weekend. AFC Bournemouth 21st, Grimsby Town 22nd.

Chester City are all but down following a 2-2 draw at The Recreation Ground against Aldershot Town. Lowe gave City hope with a 2nd minute penalty, but saw Hudson net a brace in the 14th and 56th minutes. City rescued a point through Ellans in the 63rd minute. City and Grimsby have to win/loose their matches on the final day respectively, with a swing of 20 goals due to the difference in goal difference! Aldershot Town 15th, Chester City 23rd.

Wycombe Wanderers are all but promoted, but will have to wait another week following a 1-1 draw against Port Vale at Vale Park. Collins gave Vale a 61st minute lead, with Sawyer levelling in the 80th minute. Port Vale 19th, Wycombe Wanderers 2nd.

Exeter City could achieve back-to-back promotions next weekend, following a 2-2 draw against Morecambe at St James's Park. Drummond gave the Cumbrians a 9th minute lead, with City hitting back through Moxey and Harley in the 49th and 53rd minutes. Brummond rescued a point in the 79th minute. Exeter City 3rd, Morecambe 11th.

Rochdale are in the play-offs again this season, following a 1-1 draw against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road. Craddock gave the Hatters a 33rd minute lead from the penalty spot. Dale rescued a point through Rundle in the 56th minute. Luton Town 24th, Rochdale 6th.

Dagenham & Redbridge enhanced their chances of making the play-offs with an emphatic 3-0 away win at Meadow Lane against Notts County. Saunders in the 34th minute, and then a brace from Ritchie in the 44th and 88th minutes ensured that the points were heading back to Essex. Notts County 20th, Dagenham & Redbridge 7th.

Bradford City finished their home campaign with a 3-0 win over Rotherham United at Valley Parade. A Thorne brace in the 12th and 32nd minutes was added to with a strike from Jones in the 73rd minute. Bradford City 9th, Rotherham United 14th.

Accrington Stanley collected their 9th home win over the season with a 1-0 win over Chesterfield at Livingstone Road. Grant scored the only goal of the game in the 50th minute. Accrington Stanley 16th, Chesterfield 10th.

Barnet slipped to Macclesfield at Moss Rose, going down 2-1. Brown gave the Silkmen a 2nd minute lead, with Adomah levelling in the 54th minute. Dennis secured the win in the 82nd minute. Macclesfield 18th, Barnet 17th.

Play-off rivals, Gillingham (5th) and Bury (4th) could only muster a 0-0 draw at Preiestfield. The same was true between Shrewsbury Town (8th) and Lincoln City (13th) at the New Meadow.
