Rochdale slipped up to play-off chasing Chesterfield at Saltergate a Conlon brace from the penalty spot (68th and 83rd minutes) saw the league leaders slip to their 4th away defeat of the season. Chesterfield 5th, Rochdale 1st.

Notts County romped to a 5-0 goal thrashing over Bury at Meadow Lane, who now find themselves outside the play-off places. Edwards gave County the lead in the 4th minute, with the flood gates opening in the second half when Westcarr (52nd min), Davies (60th min), Hughes (66th min) and Facey (81st min) completed the rout. Notts County 2nd, Bury 8th.

An all together tighter affair at Dean Court where AFC Bournemouth beat Bradford City to maintain their push for automatic promotion with a 1-0 win. Pitman netted the only goal of the game in the 41st minute. AFC Bournemouth 3rd, Bradford City 16th.

Rotherham United slipped up at home for the 4th time this season as Port Vale made off with the points at The Don Valley Stadium. Davies gave Vale the lead in the 59th minute, with Richards doubling the advantage 3 minutes later. Walker claimed a consolation for the home side in the 81st minute. Rotherham United 4th, Port Vale 11th.

Northampton Town managed to claim their 9th win on the road with a 2-1 win over Grimsby Town at Blundell Park. Davis gave the Cobblers the lead in the 18th minute, with Coulson levelling 3 minutes before the break. The points were secured when Akinfenwa scored the winner in the 68th minute. Grimsby Town 23rd, Northampton Town 6th.

Aldershot Town held on to their play-off spot for the time being with a 1-1 draw with Macclesfield at Moss Rose. Brown gave the Silkmen the lead in the 17th minute only to see Donnelly level from the penalty spot in the 76th minute. Macclesfield 18th, Aldershot Town 7th.

Dagenham & Redbridge (eventually) ran out comfortable winners over Accrington Stanley at Victoria Road, even though Grant gave the visitors the lead in the 5th minute. Benson levelled in the 7th, with Gain and Green putting the result beyond doubt with goals in the 41st and 53rd minutes. Dagenham & Redbridge 9th, Accrington Stanley 14th.

Morecambe managed to see off Crewe Alexandra in a 7-goal thriller at Christie Park even though Grant and Miller had given the visitors a 2-goal first half advantage with strikes in the 17th and 30th minutes. Jevons pulled one back for the home side in the 53rd minute with Donaldson restoring the 2-goal advantage just after the hour mark. Curtis then pulled one back in the 87th minute with Mullin levelling in the 92nd minute and Artell scoring the winner in the 95th minute. Morecambe 10th, Crewe Alexandra 15th.

Shrewsbury Town seem to be slipping backwards at just the wrong time and look likely to miss out on the play-offs, while Torquay United boosted their chances of League Two survival. A Bevan own goal gave the Shrews the lead in the 29th minute before Ellis levelled just after the break with Rendell scoring the winner in the 61st minute. Torquay United 21st, Shrewsbury Town 12th.

Can Darlington perform the Great Escape? They managed to secire all 3-points with a 2-1 win over Burton Albion at The Pirelli Stadium. Gray and White gave the visitors the lead with strikes in the 22nd and 32nd minutes, while the home side could only respond with a Pearson penalty in first-half stoppage time. Darlo are 16 points short of safety with 9 matches left. Burton Albion 13th, Darlington 24th.

Hereford United have guaranteed their place in League Two for a further season following a 2-1 win over Barnet, who could be looking over their shoulders should those below them get their act together. McQuiokin gave the Bulls the lead in the 29th minute with Rose putting past his own keeper to level matters just before the break. Breen then scored the Bulls winner in the 69th minute as he also put past his own keeper. Hereford United 17th, Barnet 20th.

Cheltenham Town kept the drop zone at arms length with a 1-0 win over Lincoln City at Whaddon Road. Alsop scored the only goal of the game in the 50th minute to given the Robins a 7-point cushion above the bottom two. Cheltenham Town 22nd, Lincoln City 19th.
