Rochdale made the most of the postponements with a thumping 4-0 win over Shrewsbury Town at Spotland. A brace for both Dawson (8th and 53rd minutes) and O'Grady (38th and 67th minutes) saw Dale extend their lead at the top to a comfortable 7 points. Rochdale 1st, Shrewsbury Town 10th.

On Friday evening, Grimsby Town edged a little bit closer to climbing out of the drop zone with a 1-1 draw against Morecambe at Blundell Park. Mullin gave the Shrimpers a 60th minute lead, only to see Sweeney level 7 minutes later. The draw ends Morecambe's run of 7 straight wins. Grimsby Town 23rd, Morecambe 7th.

All other matches in League Two, due to be played on Friday evening or Saturday afternoon, were called off due to the weather.

The only other game scheduled to be played this weekend will see AFC Bournemouth take on managerless Notts County in front of the live Sky Sports camera's on Monday evening.
