Two Review - Feb 10th

Last updated : 10 February 2009 By Bournemouth Co-Ordinator
We have new leaders at the top of League Two as Brentford take pole position, on goal difference, from Wycombe Wanderers. The Bees left it very late to snatch a point against Accrington Stanley at Livingstone Road. Tyan gave the Stenley a 48th minute lead. Just when the home side looked to be picking up their 6th home win of the season Rhodes popped up in the 94th minute to equalise. Accrington Stanley 18th, Brentford 1st.

Exeter City climbed back in to the play-off positions with a comfortable 4-0 win over Macclesfield at St James's Park. Stansfield gave the Grecians a 16th minute lead, with Logan doubling the advantage just before the break. Saunders made it 3 in the 73rd minute with McAllister making it 4 just 2 minutes later. Exeter City 7th, Macclesfield 16th.

Lincoln City had to came from behind in the final few minutes at Christie Park against Morecambe. Bentley gave the home side a 19th minute lead, with Green levelling with 7 minutes left on the clock to claim a point. Morecambe 14th, Lincoln City 11th.

The only other game played on Tuesday evening saw 6-goals shared between Barnet and Grimsby Town as both battle against the drop at the bottom of League Two. Bolasie and Furlong fired the Bees in to a 2-goal lead with strikes in the 19th and 20th minutes. Grimsby Town hit back through Bennett and Elliott in the 25th and 43rd minutes. O'Flynn restored the home sides advantage in the 62nd minute from the penalty spot, with Forbes levelling for a share of the spoils in the 78th minute. A draw does neither side any favours, leaving them 8 points above the drop zone. Barnet 22nd, Grimsby Town 21st.

The only other game scheduled for Tuesday evening was Rotherham United (19th) against Bury (3rd) at the Don Valley Stadium. Having been called off a week ago due to a frozen pitch, it was called off again, this time due to waterlogging!
