There was a 7-goal thriller at Edgar Street as Hereford United took on Burton Albion. Harrad gave the Brewers the lead in the 9th minute, with Pugh levelling for the Bulls in the 28th minute. Port Vale suffered a surprise home defeat against Barnet at Vale Park. An O'Flynn brace in the 8th and 84th minutes was enough for the Londoners to head back down the M6 and M1 with the points. Port Vale 15th, Barnet 16th.
