Bradford City caused the upset of the evening when they unexpectedly beat Rochdale at Spotland to claim their 6th away win of the season with a 3-1 win. Clarke gave the Bantams the lead in the 10th minute, with Dagnall levelling on the stroke of half time. It all went wrong for Dale in the final few minutes when Threfall (80th min) and Evans (87th min) sealed a seemingly unlikely victory. Rochdale 1st, Bradford City 16th.

AFC Bournemouth returned to winning ways, securing their 10th home win of the season with a 3-0 victory over Barnet at Dean Court. Rotherham United and Shrewsbury Town had to settle for a share of the points at The Don Valley Stadium following a 1-1 draw on Monday evening. Le Fondre gave the home side the lead in the 12th minute from the penalty spot, only to see Leslie level on the stroke of half time. Rotherham United 5th, Shrewsbury Town 6th.

With Notts County's (7th) game away at Darlington (24th) postponed because of freezing conditions, it gave the chance to Northampton Town to close the gap in the race for a play-off place, with they duely took against Hereford United at Edgar Street. McKay in the 29th minute, and Akinfenwa in the 67th minute secured the Cobblers 7th away win of the season. Hereford United 18th, Northampton Town 8th.

Dagenham & Redbridge also took advantage of postponements, this time the Accrington Stanley (9th)/Burton Albion (11th) to draw level with the 3 other teams around them on 46 points, following a 3-2 victory over Aldershot Town at The Recreation Ground. Hudson (22nd min) and Donnelly (51st min) have the Shots a 2-goal lead before a Benson brace (66th and 72nd mins) plus a Scott strike 5 minutes from time secured the win for the Daggers. Aldershot Town 12th, Dagenham & Redbridge 10th.

Port Vale made light work of Lincoln City at vale Park, running away with a 4-0 win, their 5th at home this season. A Pearce own goal, in the 1st minute, was not what the doctor ordered for the Imps, as Vale capitalised through Taylor (3rd min), Davies (15th min) and McCombe (69th min) to seal a fine victory. Port Vale 14th, Lincoln City 19th.

Grimsby Town cannot win for love or money at the moment. Their latest flop came at home against Macclesfield in a 1-1 draw. Devitt gave the home side the lead in the 42nd minute, with Butcher levelling in the 58th minute. Grimsby Town 23rd, Macclesfield 20th.

In another bottom of the table clash, Cheltenham Town hosted Torquay United at Whaddon Road.
