Exeter City helped themselves to a 2-0 win over cash-strapped Darlington at St James's Park. Bradford City are another side who have a great home record, but are pretty poor on their travels. Port Vale started well enough against Luton Town at Vale Park by going in front in the 26th minute through McCombe, but that's as good as it got the the home side.
