Rochdale open up a 6-point gap at the top of League Two as they saw off Crewe Alexandra at Spotland. O'Grady gave Dale the lead in the 8th minute, with an own goal from Tootle in the 46th minute wrapping up the points for the home side. Rochdale 1st, Crewe Alexandra 15th.

AFC Bournemouth were held at Dean Court to a 0-0 draw by Cheltenham Town in a game of few chances. AFC Bournemouth 2nd, Cheltenham Town 22nd.

Bury continued their excellent recent form with a slender 1-0 win over Bradford City at Valley Parade. Morrell scored the only goal of the game in the 52nd minute. Bradford City 16th, Bury 3rd.

Notts County pressed their claim for an automatic promotion place with a 1-0 win over Grimsby Town at Blundell Park, further compounding the relegation fears of the home side. Hughes scored the only goal of the game in the 69th minute. Grimsby Town 23rd, Notts County 4th.

Rotherham United suffered a surprise defeat at relegation haunted Darlington at The Arena. Purcell gave the home side the lead in the 19th minute, with Waite adding to the scoreline to give Darlo a much needed win in the 52nd minute. Darlington 24th, Rotherham United 5th.

Shrewsbury Town claimed their 6th away win of the season, collecting a 1-0 win over Macclesfield at Moss Rose. Leslie scored the only goal of the game in the 54th minute. Macclesfield 19th, Shrewsbury Town 6th.

Chesterfield also claimed a 1-goal winning margin, their came at the expense of Lincoln City at Saltergate. Green gave the Spirites the lead in the 19th minute, with Conlon doubling the advantage in the 50th minute. Swaibu reduced the arrears in the 65th minute, but it wasn't enough to salvage a vital point. Chesterfield 7th, Lincoln City 20th.

Accrington Stanley are making steady progress towards the play-off places. Their latest success came against Morecambe at Livingstone Road. Artell gave the Shrimpers the lead in the 17th minute, but saw Grant level 12 minutes later. Artell restored the visitors advantage in the 54th minute, only to see Grant level again 8 minutes later. The winner, for the home side, was netted by Ryan with 7 minutes left. Accrington Stanley 8th, Morecambe 13th.

Aldershot Town slipped up in north London against Barnet, who have been in free fall in recent times. Hyde gave the Bees the lead in the 55th minute, with a brace from O'Flynn in the 63rd and 85th minutes rounding off a fine win for the home side. Barnet 17th, Aldershot Town 9th.

Dagenham & Redbridge slipped at home to Northampton Town as Johnson netted the only goal of the game in the 71st minute. Dagenham & Redbridge 10th, Northampton Town 11th.

Burton Albion also picked up 3-points as they too won by a single goal against Port Vale at The Pirelli Stadium. Maghoma scored the only goal of the game in the 39th minute. Burton Albion 12th, Port Vale 14th.

Hereford United gave themselves a 12-point gap to the drop zone with a slender 1-0 win over fellow strugglers Torquay United at Edgar Street. McCallum scored the onlu goal of the game in the 22nd minute. Hereford United 18th, Torquay United 21st.
