AFC Bournemouth slipped to their 4th home defeat of the campaign as Bury made off with the points at Dean Court. Dawson (9th min) and Worrall (39th min) gave the Lancashire side a 2-goal lead going in at the break. The Cherries netted a consolation in the 92nd minute through Pitman. AFC Bournemouth 2nd, Bury 6th.

Dagenham & Redbridge returned to the automatic promotion places following a 2-0 win over Crewe Alexandra at Victoria Road. Scott gave the Daggers a 35th minute lea, which was added to by Green 6 minutes later. Dagenham & Redbridge 3rd, Crewe Alexandra 13th.

Shrewsbury Town had to settle for a share of the spoils at The Pirelli Stadium against Burton Albion. Hibbert gave the Shrews the lead in the 27th minute only to see Pearson level in the 75th minute. Burton Albion 12th, Shrewsbury Town 5th.

Chesterfield sneaked back in to the play-off places following a 1-0 win over Torquay United at Saltergate. Conlon netted the only goal of the game in the 72nd minute. Chesterfield 7th, Torquay United 19th.

Barnet went down to their 2nd home defeat of the season as Lincoln City claimed a vital 3-points at Underhill. Hughton gave the Imps a 30th minute lead with Yakubu levelling with 15 minutes to go. Just when it seemed that the points were going to be shared John-Lewis popped up with a 93rd minute winner. Barnet 17th, Lincoln City 22nd.

The only other game played in League Two saw Grimsby Town (23rd) draw 0-0 with Cheltenham Town (21st) at Blundell Park.

The games involving Rochdale (1st) and Port Vale (15th); Accrinngton Stanley (11th) and Rotherham United (4th); Bradford City (14th) and Notts County (8th); Darlington (24th) and Aldershot Town (9th); Hereford United (20th) and Morecambe (10th) were all postponed due to the weather.
