Rochdale extended their lead at the top of the table to 6-points as they draw 1-1 with Aldershot Town at The Recreation Ground. The League leaders took the lead through Dagnall in the 74th minute before Soares levelled with 3 minutes to go to ensure a share of the spoils. Aldershot Town 9th, Rochdale 1st.

Bury climbed in to the automatic promotion places following a 2-1 win over Bradford City at Gigg Lane. Jones gave the Shakers a 17th minute lead, with Sodje putting past his own keeper to level scores 6 minutes later. The points were wrapped up for the home side when Lowe netted a 32nd minute penalty. Bury 3rd, Bradford City 15th.

Darlington claimed their first away win of the season, surprisingly against Rotherham United at The Don Valley Stadium. Purcell gave the visitors the lead in the 47th minute with Smith doubling the advanatage in the 63rd minute. Roberts pulled one back for the home side in the 78th minute, but it wasn't enough to claim a share of the points. Rotherham United 5th, Darlington 24th.

Port Vale claimed just their 3rd home win of the campaign as they saw off Burton Albion at Vale Park. Richards gave the home side the lead in the 7th minute before Harrad levelled for the visitors in the 15th minute from the penalty spot. Rigg restored the home sides' advantage in the 25th minute with Richards completing a brace with an 85th minute penalty. Port Vale 12th, Burton Albion 14th.

Hereford United and Crewe Alexandra had to settle for a share of the spoils at Edgar Street as they cancelled each other out in a 1-1 draw. Constantine gave the Bulls the lead in the 42nd minute with Donaldson levelling for the Alex 4 minutes after the restart. Hereford United 19th, Crewe Alexandra 13th.
