Darlington claimed their first away win of the season, surprisingly against Rotherham United at The Don Valley Stadium. Port Vale claimed just their 3rd home win of the campaign as they saw off Burton Albion at Vale Park. Richards gave the home side the lead in the 7th minute before Harrad levelled for the visitors in the 15th minute from the penalty spot. Hereford United and Crewe Alexandra had to settle for a share of the spoils at Edgar Street as they cancelled each other out in a 1-1 draw.
