The game of the midweek action came at Meadow Lane where free scoring Notts County took on AFC Bournemouth in front of the Sky Sports camera's. Hughes netted from the penalty spot after Jalal saved the initial (poor) kick half way through the first half. Pitman equalised from a free kick 5 minutes after the restart only to see Hughes restore the home sides advantage a few minutes later. The Cherries snatched a deserved equaliser in the 93rd minute of time through Goulding. Notts County 3rd, AFC Bournemouth 2nd.

Rotherham United failed to take advantage and go back in to the automatic promotion places following a 2-1 defeat to Accrington Stanley at Livingstone Road. A win which enhances Stanley's chances of making the end of season play-offs. Symes gave the home side the lead in the 18th minute with Walker levelling 11 minutes after the restart. The winner came from Ryan with 11 minutes to go. Accrington Stanley 9th, Rotherham United 6th.

Morecambe still harbour play-off ambitions following a 1-0 win over Hereford United at Edgar Street. Bentley scored the only goal of the game in the 24th minute. Hereford United 20th, Morecambe 11th.

Dagenham & Redbridge are still with a shout of the play-offs, but will have to reverse a bad run of form to do so. They dropped 2-points against Lincoln City at Sincil Bank. Nurese had given the Daggers the lead in the 33rd minute, only to see Somma level in the 68th minute to claim a share of the points. Lincoln City 18th, Dagenham & Redbridge 12th.
