Notts County were thwarted in their attempt to close the gap on leaders Rochdale at Valley Parade, where Bradford City held their visitors to a 0-0 draw. Bradford City 16th, Notts County 2nd.

Rotherham United climbed back in to the automatch promotion places following a 3-1 win over Macclesfield at The Don Valley Stadium. Harrison gave the Millers the lead in the 12th minute, only to be pegged back by Wright 13 minutes later. Le Fondre restored the home sides' advantage from the penalty spot 9 minutes from time, with Broughton putting the result beyond doubt 2 minutes later. Rotherham United 3rd, Macclesfield 20th.

Aldershot Town, after some recent inconsistent form, have given themselves a real chance of making the play-offs with a 2-1 win over Conference bound Darlington at The Arena. Brown and Morgan gave the Shots a 2-goal half time advantage with strikes in the 25th and 41st minutes. Arnison claimed a consolation for the home side with 5 minutes left. The result leaves Darlo (effectively) 20-points adrift of safety with just 11 matches left for them to play. Darlington 24th, Aldershot Town 8th.

Accrington Stanley saw any play-off hopes they had dented by Burton Albion at Livingstone Road. Harrad and Pearson claimed the Brewers 7th away win of the season with goals in the 27th and 79th minutes. Accrington Stanley 13th, Burton Albion 12th.
