Brentford had their wings clipped by Gillingham at Griffin Park as they fought out a 1-1 draw. Hunt gave the Bees a 41st minute lead, with Jackson levelling in the 59th minute from the penalty spot. Brentford 1st, Gillingham 4th.

Bury enhanced their chances of going up to League One with a 1-0 win over AFC Bournemouth, who have slipped recently. Morrell claimed the only goal of the game in the 55th minute. Bury 2nd, AFC Bournemouth 21st.

Rochdale were held at home by Exeter City at spot land in a 2-2 draw. Thorpe gave Dale a 27th minute lead, with Stewart levelling in the 55th minute. Le Fondre restored the home sides advantage in the 83rd minute with Stewart levelling again in the 84th minute, from the penalty spot. Rochdale 3rd, Exeter City 6th.

Wycombe Wanderers continue to slip away from the automatic promotion places following a 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury Town, who claimed a remarkable 12th away draw of the season. Holt gave the Chairboys a 29th minute lead at Adams Park, with Davies levelling in the 75th minute. Wycombe Wanderers 5th, Shrewsbury Town 7th.

Chesterfield enhanced their play-off credentials as they claimed a 2-1 win over Port Vale at Saltergate. A Lester brace in the 68th and 74th minutes drew a response from Marshall in the 77th minute. Chesterfield 9th, Port Vale 18th.

Dagenham & Redbridge got back to winning ways in front of their own fans at Victoria Road with a 2-1 win over Macclesfield. Rooney had given the Silkmen a 38th minute lead, but the Daggers hit back through Benson in the 71st minute and Ritchie in the 83rd minute. Dagenham & Redbridge 10th, Macclesfield 19th.

Darlington edged out Barnet at Underhill, claiming a single goal win when Abbott netted the only goal of the game in the 66th minute. Barnet 20th, Darlington 11th.

Luton Town continue to give themselves a chance to beat the drop to the Conference with another win. THis time their victims were Morecambe at Christie Park. Drummond had given the home side a 21st minute lead. But back came the Hatters with goals in the 43rd and 59th minutes through Martin and Gallen respectively. Morecambe 12th, Luton Town 24th.

Lincoln City and Notts County battled away for a 1-1 draw at Sincil Bank. Facey gave County a 64th minute lead with Mullarkey levelling 3 minutes later. Lincoln City 13th, Notts County 17th.

Aldershot Town will be thankful they've already gained enough points to avoid the drop as their poor recent run continued against Grimsby Town at Blundell Park. A Conlon penalty in the 82nd minute was enough for the home side to edge 3 points clear of the drop zone. Grimsby Town 22nd, Aldershot Town 14th.

The final two games in League Two finished 0-0 as the matches involving Chester City (23rd) and Bradford City (8th), and Rotherham United (15th) and Accrington Stanley (16th) both drew blanks.
