Brentford finish off the season in style with a 2-0 win over Luton Town at Griffin Park. Osborne got the Bees off the mark in the 73rd minute, with Newton finishing off the win in the 90th minute. Brentford 1st, Luton Town 24th.

Congratulations to Exeter City who finish the season having achieved back-to-back promotions. Logan has written himself in to Grecians history as he scored the only goal of the game in the 71st minute against Rotherham United at The Don Valley Stadium. Rotherham United 14th, Exeter City 2nd.

Congratulations to Wycombe Wanderers who scrapped automatic promotion by the skin of their teeth against Notts County at Adams Park despite slipping up at home. A Thompson brace in the 30th and 90th minutes, either side of a McCracken goal in the 52nd minute ensured that Chairboys went up by a single goal! Wycombe Wanderers 3rd, Notts County 19th.

This means that Bury will be kicking themselves for missing out on automatic promotion, inspite a final day victory over Accrington Stanley at Gigg Lane. A Jevons penalty in the 95th minute sealed the much needed win. However, the home side missed out on automatic promotion by virtue of Wycombe's +21 goal difference to Bury's +20. Just one more goal would have secured Bury's automatic promotion given Bury's higher goals scored tally. Bury 4th, Accrington Stanley 16th.

Rochdale hosted Gillingham at Spotland, which was a dress-rehearsal for their forthcoming play-off encounter. Weston scored the only goal of the game for the Gills in the 20th minute. Rochdale 6th, Gillingham 5th.

Dagenham & Redbridge only had to not loose against play-off rivals Shrewsbury Town at Victoria Road to continue their season. The Daggers blew it though as the Shrews secured just their 3rd away win of the season. Holt and Humphrey, with goals in the 19th and 33rd minutes gave the visitors a 2-0 lead at half time. Benson got one back in the 53rd minute, but an equaliser was not to be for the home side who miss out on the play-offs. Dagenham & Redbridge 8th, Shrewsbury 7th.

Bradford City finished their season with a 2-0 win over Chesterfield at Saltergate. Furman in the 54th minute and Boulding in the 87th minute gave City all 3-points. Chesterfield 10th, Bradford City 9th.

Morecambe were well and truely stuffed by AFC Bournemouth at Christie Park, as the south coast side romped away with an emphatic 4-0 away win, their 6th of the season. Ward (7th min), Feeney (36th min) and a brace from Pitman (43rd and 69th mins) rounded off a memorable season for teh Cherries. Morecambe 11th, AFC Bournemouth 21st.

Darlington confirmed the inevitable for Chester City at the Deva Stadium as the visitors put the final nail in City coffin to confirm, beyond doubt, that City will be playing in the Conference next season. An Abbott brace in the 71st and 93rd minutes was enough, either side of a Miller own goal in the 89th minute. Chester City 23rd, Darlington 12th.

Aldershot Town claimed a rare win, given recent form, with a 2-0 away win over Lincoln City at Sincil Bank. Grant in the 26th minute, and Davies in the 88th minute meant that the points were heading back to Hampshire at the end of a successful season for the Club returning to League football after a lengthy absense. Lincoln City 13th, Aldershot Town 15th.

Barnet slipped to their 9th home defeat of the season against Port Vale at Underhill, who in turn collected their 7th away win of the season. Dodds gave Vale an 11th minute lead, with Glover adding a 2nd just before the break. Hart pulled one back in the 92nd minute of time. Barnet 17th, Port Vale 18th.

Finally, Grimsby Town made absolutely sure of their League status for another season following a 0-0 draw against Macclesfield at Blundell Park. Grimsby Town 22nd, Macclesfield 20th.
