AFC Bournemouth slipped to their first home defeat of the season against Chesterfield at Dean Court. A brace from Talbot in the 15th and 45th minutes only drew a response from Hollands in the 75th minute for the home side. AFC Bournemouth 1st, Chesterfield 9th.

Dagenham & Redbridge slipped up to within a point of the top with a 2-0 win over Darlington at Victoria Road. Two quick goals from Green and Scott in the 17th and 18th minutes were enough to seal the win. Dagenham & Redbridge 2nd, Darlington 24th.

Rotherham United were denied pole position in League Two, being held by Hereford United at The Don Valley Stadium. Le Fondre gave the Millers an 11th minute lead only to see McCallum equalise in the 90th minute. Rotherham United 3rd, Hereford United 20th.

Rochdale maintained their good home form with a 2-1 win over Barnet at Spotland. Dagnall have Dale an 11th minute lead, with Kennedy doubling the advantage on the stroke of half time. Hyde netted a consolation for the Bees in the 84th minute. Rochdale 4th, Barnet 6th.

Aldershot Town thumped Morecambe at the Recreation Ground with a 4-1 victory. Morgan fired the Shots ahead in the 14th minute, with Stanley putting past his own keeper in the 47th minute, Hudson netting in the 67th minute and Soares making it 4-0 in the 80th minute. Mullin scored a consolation in the 91st minute. Aldershot Town 5th, Morecambe 21st.

Shrewsbury Town surprisingly slipped at home against Port Vale as McCombe scored the only goal of the game on the stroke of half time at the New Meadow. Shrewsbury Town 7th, Port Vale 14th.

Burton Albion claimed their 2nd away League of the season with a 2-1 victory over Grimsby Town at Blundell Park. Jones had given the home side a 4th minute lead, only for Corbett to level in the 10th minute and Phillips to score what proved to be the winner in the 31st minute. Grimsby Town 22nd, Burton Albion 10th.

Bradford City were undone at home, unevenly sharing 5-goals with Crewe Alexandra at Valley Parade. Zola netted a brace in the 8th and 23rd minutes, before Boulding pulled one back just before the break. Schumacher restored the 2-goal advantage in the 65th minute, with Hanson putting City back in the game again 4 minutes later, but it wasn't enough to secure a point. Bradford City 11th, Crewe Alexandra 15th.

Bury threw away a 2-goal lead for a share of the spoils against Northampton Town at Gigg lane. Worrall and Lowe had given the home side a 2-goal advantage with strikes in the 29th and 33rd minutes. The Cobblers hit back through Herbert in the 66th minute and Akinfenwa in the 74th minute. Bury 12th, Northampton Town 19th.

Accrington Stanley romped to a convincing 4-0 win over Cheltenham Town at Livingstone Road. The 4 goals came in a devasting 14 minute period in the second half as Turner netted in the 54th minute, Edwards converted a penalty in the 59th minute, with Grant rounding things off with a brace in the 62nd and 68th minutes. Accrington Stanley 13th, Cheltenham Town 17th.

Lincoln City hoisted themselves away from the danger zone at the expense of Macclesfield at Moss Rose as Howe scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 70th minute. Macclesfield 18th, Lincoln City 16th.

Notts County (8th) hose Torquay United (23rd) in a Sunday evening kick off, in a match to be televised live on Sky Sports.
