Wycombe Wanderers held on to pole position, despite being held by struggling Grimsby Town at Blundell Park. Hegarty gave the home side a 2nd minute lead, but saw a cruicial 3-points slip away when Johnson levelled in the 91st minute. Grimsby Town 21st, Wycombe Wanderers 1st.

Dagenham & Redbridge maintained their unbeaten start to their home campaign with a 2-0 win over Barnet at Victoria Road. Ritchie gave the home side a 9th minute lead in their Friday night encounter, with Strevens sealing the win in the 62nd minute. Dagenham & Redbridge 2nd, Barnet 20th.

Bradford City returned to winning ways, edging out Accrington Stanley in a 5-goal thriller at Livingstone Road, but had to come from behind to secure the win. Stanley gained a 2-goal lead through Ryan in the 23rd minute, and Gornell in the 50th. It was all looking good for a 2nd home win of the season until Boulding (80th min), Conlon (88th min) and Thorne (89th min) snatched the points away. Accrington Stanley 19th, Bradford City 3rd.

Bury slipped to their first home defeat of the season against Exeter City at Gigg Lane. Logan scored the only goal of the game in the 7th minute to set up City's 3rd away win of the season. Bury 4th, Exeter City 7th.

After their 7-0 away win over Wycombe Wanderers in the JPT in midweek, Shrewsbury Town were brought back down to earth with a bump as they slipped to a surprise home defeat to Port Vale at the New Meadow. Dodds gave Vale a 19th minute lead. Symes levelled in the 89th minute, but just as it seemed that the points were to be shared, Richards popped up with the winner in the 96th minute! Shrewsbury Town 5th, Port Vale 16th.

Gillingham emphatically claimed their 4th home win of the campaign with a convincing 5-0 drubbing of Morecambe at Priestfield. Goals from Bentley (21st min), Jackson (24th and 36th mins), an own goal from Artell (73rd min) and McCammon (80th min) was more than enough to overwhelm the visitors. Gillingham 8th, Moreambe 18th.

It's going to be tough for Luton Town to escape the drop to the Conference it would seem, given they were beaten at Kenilworth Road by Darlington. Clarke gave the visitors a 15th minute lead, with Gnakpa levelling in the 31st minute. A share of the points was not to be when Blundell netted the winner in the 90th minute. Luton Town 24th, Darlington 9th.

Aldershot Town could not overcome Macclesfield at Moss Rose, as the home side ran out 4-2 winners. Goal less at half time, the game came to life immediate after the break as Evans gave the home side a 48th minute lead. Hudson levelled for the Hampshire side in the 51st minute. A Thomas brace restored the Macc Lads advantage in the 55th and 58th minutes. Hylton pulled one back for the Shots, but any chance of a comeback was snuffed out when Green gave the home side a 4th goal in the 83rd minute. Macclesfield 13th, Aldershot Town 10th.

Lincoln City managed to claim a point against Rochdale at Sincil Bank. Rundle gave the visitors a 26th minute, with Hone levelling in the 86th minute to share the points. Lincoln City 15th, Rochdale 11th.

Chesterfield and Chester City had to make do with a share of the points at Saltergate. Linwood gave the visitors a 17th minute lead, but saw Ward level for the home side just before the hour. Chesterfield 14th, Chester City 17th.

AFC Bournemouth (23rd) and Rotherham United (22nd) had to settle for a 0-0 draw in a game with plenty of chances.

The one game to be played this weekend is Brentford v Notts County, which is live on Sky Sports on Monday evening.
