Waiting On Spicer

Spicer's 3 month loan spell came to an end after the Tranmere Rovers match on Friday night. Now AFC Bournemouth are waiting to hear whether this loan spell can be coverted to a season long loan period. Speaking on BBCi, Sean O'Driscoll is quoted as saying: "We're hopeful he'll be here next week, but we just can't get hold of anybody from Arsenal. All you can do is put in phone calls, faxes and e-mails, and send pigeons or whatever until someone says yes or no. We are hopeful he wants to stay - his agent's keen on him to stay and his parents want him to stay. He's been fantastic - he hadn't played any League games before he came to us, so at 21, he was on a steep learning curve".

John Spicer has already declared that he would not want to play for any other League One side, except AFC Bournemouth!
