Walsall Reaction

After the match Richard O'Kelly was quoted on BBCi as saying: "If you were a neutral supporter, after 45 minutes you'd have thought you could have seen a 5-5 game. Some of our attacking play was very good, but we had chances from 18-20 yards where we should have hit the target and make the goalkeeper work. But Walsall scored a great goal, and then controlled the last 20 minutes".

For Walsall, Paul Merson was quoted on BBCi as saying: "That's another clean sheet, so it's only one goal we've conceded in the last five home games, although we should have won by more. Steve Staunton was great when he came on, and you can tell he's played 102 times for Ireland, as he's a class act. If we keep playing like that and work hard, we'll cause any team problems and we'll win more games than we lose".
