Manager Kevin Bond is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "We can't do anything about the fact we didn't win as many games as we would have liked in the first-half of the season. It's been a topsy-turvy season for everybody connected with the club. With everything that's happened, it's great credit to the players to have been so single-minded and focused over recent weeks. They have been fantastic and I just hope we get a big crowd for our final home game against Crewe. If ever there were a must-win game then this is it!"

Bond is also quoted as saying: "We were disappointed to concede the equaliser because we were in charge of the game. But we didn't dwell on it and if we had a stroke of luck on the day, it was going back in front straight after they had equalised. Jo has been excellent recently and is showing what a good player he is".
