Walsall Reaction - Saddlers

The Walsall manager, Richard Money, is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "Without wishing to be disrespectful to anybody, I was very shocked to read that any prospective new owner could not guarantee Kevin his job after what he's done. If Kevin's job is in any danger from a new owner then there isn't much hope for quite a number of managers in the league because he's been fantastic over the past three months. Bournemouth were on a decent run and had caught most of the teams around them when they had 10 points deducted and had to start all over again. But Kevin kept his counsel and didn't complain. He certainly deserves a great deal of credit and they deserve to get out of trouble. Kevin set them up in a very professional and realistic manner. They were tough to play against and they always looked very dangerous on the counter attack. They've got a chance of staying up. They need to beat Crewe and then it would be all down to Carlisle. But Cheltenham have got Doncaster on the last day so that won't be easy. But you can't argue with the fact that Bournemouth have won five in a row and six out of seven. I don't think you would want to go into your last two games in much better form than that".
