Manager Eddie Howe was quoted on BBC Radio Solent as saying after the 2-0 win: "It’s something we haven’t done enough of this season. That’s probably our next challenge now when you look at the fixtures that are still to come. Can we beat the teams in and around us? That will have a massive bearing on the outcomes of this season. Hopefully this is a good start to achieving that".
