We Can Sign A Player

With the current injury crisis at Dean Court, which lead to Eddie Howe only being able to name 3 substitutes to face Burton Albion over the weekend, one of those being 16-year old Jayden Stockley, the Club have been given permission to sign a player, subject to a cap of £500 a week in wages.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Chairman Eddie Mitchell is quoted as saying: "We have been told we are able to bring in a player on an emergency loan although his wages would need to be around the £500-per-week-mark. This week alone, the board has raised around £40,000 on top of this week's gate receipts. It is obvious now the fans are behind us as the numbers that turned out on Saturday were the second highest in our league and we are so grateful".
