We're Going To Love Charlie Daniels

Leyton Orient Chairman, Barry Hearn, has gone on record as saying that Cherries fans are going to love Charlie Daniels.

Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Hearn is quoted as saying on the move that: "Terms have been agreed between us and Charlie Daniels is there having a medical. I understand he has agreed personal terms but that has not been confirmed to me and I am waiting to hear back from Bournemouth on whether the deal is going to be concluded today. I am always unhappy to lose a quality player but I have to live in the real world. Charlie is out of contract with us at the end of this season and could have sat on his contract and moved as a free agent. I am relatively satisfied (with the deal) but am never satisfied at losing great players. Charlie scares the life out of people with his pace and is a quality left-back. He would be a valuable addition to any team that signed him. He has done brilliantly for Leyton Orient and I wish him the very best of luck in his career. He is an exceptionally nice lad and he will be an asset to any side. He has got a sweet left foot and is not frightened to take on players. The fans will love him because he is one of those attacking left-backs that make things happen. I think he is capable of playing at a higher level".

Daniels comes to Dean Court, initially on loan, but with a permanent move lined up in January.

It is being reported that the O's initially rejected a bid thought to be in the region of £50k, but accepted an improved offer of £200k.
