We're Staying Up!

In an interview on the Clubs Official Web Site, Sean is quoted as saying: "Our run-in has always consisted of playing teams at the top of the table. You can spin it every which way you want. There will be a big crowd and the whole place will be lifted by that. They're a good side, clear at the top and you've got to give them credit for doing that on the back of a promotion last season. They've got a front two as good as any in the division".

Sean goes on to say: "You see teams winning two on the trot that are dragged back into it if they don't maintain the form. They're suddenly looking over their shoulders again so the threat won't go away easily. The top seven look like they're away and almost everyone else is scrapping for their lives. One or two teams will creep clear, but it will mean an anxious last few games for the majority. As it stands it is still in our own hands. We're on the back of three good performances and touch wood everybody will stay as fit as they possibly can. In that respect this is a good time to play Southend".
