Following discussions over the winding up order, brought by Magic Solutions Ltd, the winding up order which was due to be heard on January 28th, was not heard after all.
An amicable solution was reached by both sides with respect to just under £40,000 that was owed by the Football Club, which was outstanding after the transfer of Scott Guyett from Yeovil Town.
Speaking in the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Cherries Chairman, Adam Murry, was quoted as saying: "I had a meeting with Magic Solutions and Portner Solicitors regarding the winding-up petition and it was very amicable. David Lamey and Portner were extremely helpful and co-operative in finding a way forward for the club. I was very pleased we mana-ged to reach an amicable agreement. Magic Solutions were very happy to come up with a compromise to stop the petition - it wasn't what they had wanted in the first place. The meeting went very well and they were happy to oblige. They were more than helpful and listened to what I had to say".
