Wrexham Reaction

Not unsurprisingly, Sean O'Driscoll was delighted with the 2-1 away win, our 9th of the season. He is quoted on BBCi as saying: "In the first half, we weren't at the races - we always have difficult games against Wrexham and this was no different .... Stephen Purches came in to do a job on Carlos Edwards, which he's good at, but he gets forward and took his goal well. We need to get our home form back on track now, but we're learning to grind results out and be resilient".

Meanwhile Dennis Smith has almost resigned himself to taking Wrexham down to League Two: "There comes a stage when you can take so much and I'm getting close to having enough .... It was a game we should have won. Two stupid goals and a lot of missed chances and perhaps we should have had a couple of pens as well. I thought we were the better team and deserved to win, but we didn't do it so I'm not in the best of moods".
