Yeovil Town Reaction

For AFC Bournemouth, manager Sean O'Driscoll was quoted on BBCi as saying:"It was a good local derby in front of a good crowd. Both sets of players were a credit to their teams. I've seen a lot of Yeovil over the years, and they've put a lot of good teams to the sword. We were in control just after we scored, but they upped the tempo in the second half and put us on the back foot, so the draw was fair".

For Yeovil Town, their manager Steve Thompson was quoted on BBCi as saying: "Bournemouth like to pass the ball around, and I bet that not many teams come from behind against them when they take the lead, as it's a tough job. There were very few clear-cut chances, about three each, so it was probably a fair result. They had a lot of corners early on, and then we had a load of them in the last 15-20 minutes, so there was pressure exerted by both teams, but both teams defended well. We probably didn't get enough crosses in, but Bournemouth made it difficult for us to get in the wide positions early on. I was fairly pleased with the way we limited Bournemouth's chances, but we normally come good in the second half as we're a fit team".
