Yeovil Town Reaction

For The Cherries, Richard O'Kelly was quoted on BBC Radio Solent after the match as saying: "It was the proverbial six-pointer, but a very important victory. We created more chances than them, but scored at the time we were on top. We were resolute in our defending, but probably the best move of the match resulted in Steve Fletcher's goal. The players' application has been first-class, but they've got their just rewards for their efforts today".

On the otherhand, Yeovil Town's boss, Steve Thompson, was left to rue the lack of chances, being quoted on BBCi as saying: "We didn't create enough throughout the game. I had to change it at half-time as Bournemouth were getting too much possession in midfield. We went to wing-backs and had more possession in the second half, but we only created one or two real chances, which is disappointing. We're in a battle - we knew it before the game and we know it even more now".
