Yeovil boss, Russell Slade was quoted after the match as saying: "We're sometimes not the best starters, and struggled to get into the game in the first 20 minutes as Bournemouth had the better of the possession. But we got a goal with our only decent effort of the first half, we got a second after the break and after that it was reasonably comfortable. Bournemouth played with great passion, but we took our chances better".

He also went on to say about loanee Leon Best: "I'm delighted for Leon Best to leave us having gone into double figures. We shall miss him, he's been a tower of strength not just with his goals but with his attacking ethic. I hope one day we get the opportunity to bring him back. We're not the best starters and, for the first 20 minutes, Bournemouth played with a lot of passion and they had one window of opportunity which they didn't take. They didn't look like a side struggling but we took our chances. Wayne Gray scored with our only real chance in the first half but we had several more in the second and we could have made it more comfortable".
