Youngsters Given A Chance

Manager Eddie Howe is quoted in the Bournemouth Evening Echo as saying: "While we would like to have been in a position to offer them longer term deals, I'm quite happy giving them both the carrot of three months. It will give them a good opportunity to prove they are good enough to make the step up - and it's a big step. The hard work starts now because moving from the youth team to the first team is the hardest transition to make. The three months will be vital for them to see how their respective careers progress. They will both be given a chance to stake their claims for longer deals".
