Neil Young, it has been confirmed, has signed a new deal at Dean Court to keep him at the Club for another year.

Speaking the Bournemouth Evening Echo, Young is quoted as saying: "It was an uncertain period for everybody and it goes through your mind that it could be your turn next. It was reassuring to be offered a new contract at the end of last season and I've just been thinking things over while I've been away. I've kept in touch with the chairman and it was always really a done deal. It wasn't a matter of not signing, it's just that I haven't been around. The chairman and the manager have both been superb with me. They understand where I am with my career and that has helped in the decision. But it would take something very special for me to even consider moving away from here because this is my home and this is my club".
14th season @ Dean Court
