Moments later Purches shot was deflected behind for a corner. Stewart saved well from Jackman after cooper slipped and let him in. Royce then saved well from Anderton, saving well with his legs from a low drive. Flynn then shot just wide soon after.

On 22mins it was 0-1, Bentley's shot was saved by Stewart, but stone recieved the ball and sent in a cross, Crofts beat Cooper to head home. This was the 50th goal conceded since Bond took over. Fletcher then put the ball into the side netting, after his first header was saved by Royce.

Anderton then tried to chip Royce from 40 yards out, but Royce managed to tip the ball over. Hayter and wilson had half chances, before Hayter levelled the scores, he controlled the ball well with his chest after a Cooper pass and he finished by steering his shoot low into the bottom corner. h/t 1-1.

Second half saw Stewart save well from Flynn. 61 mins Browning replaced Cooper, it seemed to make a difference as AFCB started to press. A Cummings free kick was saved by Royce, two more free kicks were wasted by wilson and Anderton. A Brett Pittman cross almost saw Cox put the ball in his own net, but luckly for him it went over. Hayter fired a shot into the side netting near the end, but thats how a poor second half finished.

Not a classic but thats how the season has been, not a season to remember. This team looks alot better with Young at the back instead of Broadhurst, Summerfield was poor.

Man Of The Match
Has to go to Gowling, he is a tower at the back, made some good tackles and had to play well when Broadhurst is in the line up.
