Which ever way you cut the cake, this 1-0 win at the Galpharm IS a fantastic win for the Cherries, especially sweet after the play-off defeat back in May!

The Cherries simply dominated the opening 45-minutes, creating a string of clear cut opportunities as the south coast visitors went looking for revenge.

The winner came in the 19th minute when Wes Thomas set up Harry Arter. Further opportunities fell to Arter, and Malone who could, and probably should have made it 3-0 going in at the break.

The Terriers made more of a game if in the second period, but never really threatened Flahavan in the Cherries goal.

One blot on the win came when Harry Arter picked up his 10th booking of the season, which means he'll now miss the next 2 matches (Sheffield Utd (h) and Brentford (a)).

The win lifts the Cherries up to 14th in the League One table, just 6 points short of the play-off places, and is the Cherries first win away in Huddersfield since the 1992/93 season.
