After a nothing first 45 minutes, AFC Bournemouth fell behind after just 5 minutes of the second half when Brkovic headed home from a Harris cross.

A mix up between Hollands and Telfer allowed Hoskins to extend the lead for Millwall in the 55th minute, a goal which proved to be too much for the Cherries to come back from.

Shaun Cooper managed to get one goal back in the 74th minute to set up an interesting last 15 minutes or so, but it was never going to be as the Cherries slip out of the Cup.
