I don't exactly know what the change is ..... the departure of Telfer? Gowlings absence? But at the moment there is a distinctly 'home' feel to the Cherries at the moment as opposed to a side scared to play at home. Have we turned the corner at at last?

As with the Gillingham match, the game was open and very much end to end, which seemed to suit the Cherries more than high flying Leyton Orient.

In a neat passing move that involved just about every outfield player (at least twice), the ball eventually fell to Max Gradel who fired home from a very tight angle in the 19th minute to give the Cherries a deserved lead.

At the other end Leyton Orient seemed content to fire the ball straight at Gareth Stewart in the Cherries goal, who had to pull off some great reflex saves to preserve the lead going in to the break.

Less than 10 minutes after the re-start, the Cherries doubled their advantage. A mix up between defender Mkandawire and keeper Nelson, allowed Vokes to net much to the obvious delight of the player himself and the home fans. Unfortunately his celebrations also earned him a yellow card!

Saah netted for Leyton Orient, when it seemed easier for the Cherries to clear their lines, but the best, and finniest moment was saved til last!

Leyton Orient won a 90th minute cormer, which saw all of their players, including the keeper Nelson, venture forward in the the Cherries penalty area. The ball was cleared, leaving Juffour and Henry with a chase up the pitch to an unguarded goal. Keeper Nelson almost made it back, with Henry as cool as a cucumber rounding a stranded Leyton defender as he made the points well and truely safe! Cue mad celebrations!

The win (!) leaves the Cherries 4th from bottom, just a point off safety with a home match against Swindon Town to come on Saturday.
