Disappointment for the Cherries as they slip to their 3rd defeat on the trot, finishing 2010 on a bit of a low point.
The match didn't start well as Marc Pugh failed to clear properly in the 6th minute, allowing Lewis Guy to score in the bottom right corner of the goal.
As the half wore on, Franchise failed to take what chances came their way as the Cherries seemed to be all over the place at the back. But, to their credit, the Cherries did claw their way back in to the match with the introduction of Steve Fletcher in place of Danny Ings, who was making his full debut for the Club.
The second period saw the Cherries in more determined mood, again chances came and went, including a clear shout for a penalty after a Steve Fletcher header was man handled past the post by an out-field player. The wood work was hit, and the ball cleared off the line on a couple of occassions, but it just wasn't happening in front of goal.
The nail in the Cherries came in the final few seconds when Doumbe netted to double the home sides' advantage following a Cherries attack that came to nothing.
A disappointing to end the calendar year, after an exciting year overall.
The defeat leaves the Cherries sitting 6th in the League One table (who would have though that at the start of the season?), with an away trip to Swindon Town coming up on New Years Day.
