Much of the first half didn't really come to life, as neither side managed to carve open too many clear cut chances. Wade had a shot in the opening moments, which was easy for the keeper to hold, and Danny Thomas beat the 2/3 men marking him to fire in a low shot, which the keeper had to beat away for a corner. Boston were there, but they weren't doing much better at the other end themselves.

The second half didn't started in much the same vein as the first had finished, but livened up enormously though mid way through when Brian Stock tried to chip the keeper from about 30 yards only to see the ball rebound off the cross bar and straight in to the keepers hands!! Not to be outdone on the long range stakes, as Angel 'fired' the ball from a good 35-yards out to see hit fly past Tardif and in to the back of the net!! This on 78 minutes Disaster as Boston suddenly had grasp of a rare away win. From the re start, the visitors had Greaves sent off for a second bookable offence on Feeney (on 80 minutes). And so to the final few minutes of the game.

When all seemed lost and 4 minutes of injury time indicated, O'Connor crossed the ball, which eluded everyone. When it fell to Purches on the far side, his low powerful cross/shot rebounded off Neil Redfearn for the equaliser. A point salavaged we thought. But moments later Hayter had a shot, which was parried in to the path of the on coming Feeney, who could hardly of missed from close range!! Just to demonstrate how close this was to the end of sencond half injury time, as soon as Boston kicked off, the ref blew up for full time.

We had escaped BIG time.

Carl Fletcher, for a solid performance at the back, pity he is suspended for Tuesday's trip to Kiddminster Harriers
