Messers Howe and Tindall might have achieved much in their time at Dean Court, but their first two games ended in defeat, so a creditable point for Messers Bradbury and Fletcher.

It might have finished 0-0, but there were a hatfull of chances for both sides as both goal keepers dominated their respective penalty areas, pulling off some remarkable saves throughout the match to deny the opposing strikers.

The Cherries could have had a penalty, but that appeal was ignored as the ball seemed to be clearly handled in the Rochdale penalty area.

In the end it wasn't to be, but a bright start for the new management team with a south coast derby against Brighton to come at the weekend.
