Huddersfield had first effort when Browning had the ball stolen from him by Worthington, but he fired over the bar. Moss saved well at the feet of Beckett after a mix up clearing the ball. Bertrand was fouled on the left after a run, but Anderton's free kick was cleared for a corner, which was cleared with ease. Moments later another AFCB corner saw Worthington breakaway with the ball to run the length of the pitch unchallenged as Young just kept backing off, to fire across goal beyond Moss to put them 1-0 up after 12 minutes.

Purches had an effort well saved by Glennon, who turned his effort around the post, corner again was easily cleared. Booth turned and shoot straight at Moss at the other end.

Hayter then had a first time shoot headed of the line by McIntosh, and the follow up was fired into the side netting by Wilson. But then on 43 minutes it was 1-1, when a Young ball into the box was not dealt with and Purches was able to fire across goal to find the bottom corner. 1-1 half time.

Moss was in action soon after the break, having to tip over a Collins effort from 20 yards out. Vokes was replaced by Wardrobe soon after when he went in bravely for a challenge to prevent Huddersfield for scoring. It was a poor half of football, Bertrand put in Anderton, but found a solid defence in front of him. Schofield blasted a free kick over the bar.

On 85 minutes Beckett's perfect through ball was meet by Schofield to fire home. 1-2.

In stoppage time Fletcher should have scored, (why is he still with us?), when a Lawson cross was met by him but his header was to close to Glennon to save with ease. That's how it finished.

The lack of good midfield players is a worry, Browning was awful, Hayter looks lost playing in the centre, Anderton good touch but no legs left in him to chase anymore, Fletcher has to go, defence was ok, but we now need to keep the same back four and not keep changing it.

Hayter has to go back up front with Vokes and we have good cover with the lively Pittman.

Man Of The Match
Why do I get all the games when its hard to chose one, it has to be one of two Purches looked good, but I am going for Gowling he has now got to start games as he looks the best centre back at the club now.
