In all the years AFC Bournemouth have been up against Plymouth Argyle there has been no occassion when the Cherries have recorded a League double over the Devon side ......... but all that changed this afternoon at Home Park!

Danny Ings, again, was a lively as ever, hitting the wood work in the 19th minute, with the ball falling kindly to Pugh to put the Cherries ahead - much to the delight of the large travelling support.

Argyle tried to hit back, but seemed intent on squandering a succession of 'easy' chances by missing the target from within the 6-yard box!

Rory Fallon did pull a goal back (off his shin) in the 71st minute, but it wasn't enough as the Cherries turned on the pressure again with Ings again the provider as Fletcher scored what proved to be the winner in the 84th minute.

The Cherries held on to the win, which keeps them firmly in the automatic promotion places, with a home match against Swindon Town to come on Tuesday evening.
