The less said about much of the first half ..... the better, as both sides failed to make much head way at Dean Court, such was the forgettable nature of the half. Bradbury did more than just sting the fingers of the Town keeper as he fired a rasping shot towards goal on the half hour mark, which was followed minutes later by a Pitman effort that was blocked. Yeovil decided to join in at this stage, rattling the woodwork at the other end of the pitch seconds later.

On the stroke of half time, the dead lock was broken. Cummings swung in a corner, Igoe stepped over the ball allowing Brett Pitman to fire home.
The second half was a more lively affair, which saw a Cherries hero net his first goal in a Cherries shirt for over 4 years! A Cummings corner was met by one Alan Connell Alan to head the home side 2-up in the 65th minute - much to the delight of the home faithful.

Apart from hitting the wood work again, Yeovil didn't look too much like scoring un with 4 minutes to go one of their chances did beat Jalal as Obika netted from close range to dent the 'goals against tally' at Dean Court.
With time ticking away the Cherries seeing Feeney miss two chances to wrap the game up very late on as Yeovil missed an open goal to force a penalty shoot out!

The Cherries scrape through, possibly to face Southampton in the next round.
